A Home That Still Looks New in Year Ten: JIUNAI Completes an Integrated Stainless Steel Whole-Home Project in Ankang
Food-grade 304 stainless steel cores, wrapped in warm wood-grain finishes, take the mould, swelling and warping out of whole-home cabinetry — one colour, one finish, every room.
ANKANG, Shaanxi, China — 30 September 2026

JIUNAI Stainless Steel Home Furnishings today announced the completion of a private residence in Ankang, Shaanxi Province, delivered as a single whole-home customisation package. Every room — entry, living and dining areas, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry and all interior doors — was specified to one colour and one finish under JIUNAI's integrated "door–wall–cabinet" system, with food-grade 304 stainless steel as the core substrate beneath a warm wood-grain surface.
The project started from one question: what does this home look like in year ten? Conventional wood-based cabinetry fails in predictable ways — it swells in humid seasons, moulds behind splashbacks and under sinks, and warps around door leaves. JIUNAI's answer is to move the structure to stainless steel and keep the warmth on the surface.

01 · An Entrance That Sets the Order for the Whole House
Wood-veneer wall panelling runs from the entryway through the hallway and joins seamlessly to full-height cabinetry in the same tone. Cool marble underfoot meets warm, layered lighting — hard and soft balancing each other. Unlike piecemeal joinery, JIUNAI's door–wall–cabinet integration keeps the hallway and entrance as one continuous plane: concealed storage takes the daily clutter, open shelves carry the pieces worth showing. Beneath the wood grain, the stainless substrate stays flat and clean through everyday wear and humid weather.

02 · Living, Dining and Kitchen as One Continuous Space
Moving inward, the living, dining and kitchen areas open into a single flowing space. Hard partitions are removed; integrated panelling and storage link the whole zone, keeping circulation open and light moving freely. Show and hide are balanced — storage for the everyday, display for the things that matter. The stainless core resists impact, moisture and mould, and cleaning is simple, which leaves more of the day for living.

03 · A Kitchen Built Around Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel
The kitchen is where a home ages fastest. JIUNAI specified food-grade 304 stainless steel as the core substrate, finished in the same wood tone used throughout the house — keeping the interior consistent while removing, at the root, the moulding, moisture absorption and deformation that trouble conventional wooden kitchens.

03 · Kitchen in food-grade 304 stainless steel
A full run of cabinetry sits along the window line, with natural light falling clean across the worktop; appliances are integrated and storage is zoned so every tool and ingredient has its place. Heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and easy to wipe down, the material suits the oil and smoke of Chinese-style cooking — and keeps a flat, bright surface through years of daily meals.

04 · Bedrooms Tailored to Each Family Member
A bedroom's job is to let the day go. JIUNAI built a bedroom storage system around each family member: restrained detailing, considered function. Full-height wardrobes and wall panelling share one colour and one plane; clean lines widen the sense of space; closed cabinetry takes four seasons of clothing, and an extended integrated desk covers work and reading. Warm wood grain sets a calm tone, while the stainless core resists moisture and deformation and keeps doors running smoothly year after year. Layouts are customised room by room.

05 · One Standard Across Every Detail
The quality of a home shows in the places you barely notice. From the wall-hung vanity in the bathroom to the integrated utility zone and every interior door, JIUNAI applied one standard — same colour, same process, across every category — so the whole house reads as a single piece.

05 · Bathroom and utility
The floating bathroom cabinet is crisp and clean; the stainless substrate is unaffected by steam, ending the moulding and swelling common to conventional vanities. The utility zone combines washer and dryer with storage so linens and cleaning supplies have a home. And because every door matches the panelling and cabinetry in colour and material, the boundaries between rooms disappear.

For JIUNAI, a home is judged by how it holds up
A home is not measured by how it looks on day one, but by how it performs afterwards. By putting a 50-year design service life behind a warm, tactile surface, JIUNAI takes on the wear that shortens the life of ordinary cabinetry — leaving a house that carries daily life and still looks after itself.
“A home is not judged on the day the keys are handed over. It is judged ten years later — whether the doors still close cleanly, whether the cabinet under the sink has swollen, whether the surface still looks the way it did on day one. We put stainless steel behind every panel so that the answer to all three is yes.” — ZHOU lipeng, Founder, JIUNAI Stainless Steel Home Furnishings |
